The successful candidate will be part of the Line Maintenance Department, SIA Engineering Division.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and monitoring flight schedules, assisting in configuration and Ad-hoc aircraft changes
- Oversee the deferred defect list, checks and planned tasks are completed without overrun
- Assist Duty Manger in planning ground time and prioritising defect management
- Liaise with SIA Operations Control Centre and Flight Control Centre to plan for aircraft configuration change involving passenger load, pilots and crew availability
- Coordinate with stations’ Technical Handling Agents to review changes in aircraft deployment, configuration change and aircraft certification requirement
- Coordinate with SIAEC Line Station to arrange for flight observer and flight spares container
- Liaise with flight dispatch to review mission fuel requirement and restrictions under aircraft Minimum Equipment List
- Plan and monitor work assignments given to Technical Handling Agents and line stations and re-schedule if assigned aircraft is utilised on another service
Requirements
- Possess a Diploma in Engineering
- This position requires working on shift, 24/7
- Good problem solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be motivated, driven and be able to work independently.
