We manage deal structuring, due diligence and closing. We provide financial operations to GIC’s private equity, infrastructure, and real estate assets, as well as tax structuring, corporate holding structures, valuations, and financial reporting.

 

Investment Services Digital & Data (ISD)

The Investment Services Digital & Data Team (ISD) is part of Investment Services Private Markets (ISPVM).  Our mission is to drive Operational Intelligence across all Private Market Service Platforms by leveraging digital technologies and transforming business processes, connecting people, systems and data.  We provide specialist data management across the private markets’ investment lifecycle, including data sourcing and collection, validation and operational analytics of data from our partners, deal teams and vendors across all private market asset classes for Investment Execution, Asset Servicing and Controllership service platforms.

 

We are looking for a suitable candidate to join our Investment Services Digital Team as an AVP/VP with a focus on Platform Management.

 

Responsibilities

  • Digital Strategy and Roadmap
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with GIC’s private markets business goals and objectives.
  • Platform Development and Management
    • Oversee the development and implementation of service platforms supporting Investment execution, Asset Servicing and Controllership services.
  • Data Analytics and Process Optimisation
    • Implement analytics tools and leverage data-driven insights to continuously optimise processes and platforms, improving user engagement and operational decision-making.
  • Technology and Innovation - Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in private markets, identifying opportunities to innovate and enhance digital platforms.
  • Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies, including AI models, to improve platform capabilities and efficiency.
  • Leadership and Collaboration - Lead a cross-functional team of SMEs, process owners, and digital marketers.  Foster a collaborative environment, working closely with stakeholders across the organization, including investment teams, Technology, Data and Compliance to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.

 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Information System, or a related fields.
  • At least 8 years of experience in leading platform development, platform management or transformation in financial services.  Private markets (Private Equity, Private Credit, Real Estate) or Industry Platform experience will be preferred.
  • Strong technical background with proficiency in data technologies, digital tools.  Coding experience with Python will be beneficial but not required.
  • Hands-on, data-driven mindset with experience in leveraging analytics to inform decision-making and optimise processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.  Certifications in any project management discipline will be a bonus.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
