Job Description

About this job:

We are seeking a motivated intern to join our dynamic team in Singapore for a 6 month period, starting as soon as possible. This role will report directly to the Senior Client Partner and offers the opportunity to engage in a diverse range of responsibilities critical to our operations in the Southeast Asia market. The ideal candidate will contribute to strategic initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in business analysis, market research, and compliance management.

About the role:

• Quotation Support: Assist in the preparation and execution of quotation activities for life and health insurance products, ensuring alignment with regional market demands and cross-functional collaboration.
• Market Research & Analysis: Perform in-depth market research across Southeast Asia to identify emerging trends, assess customer needs, and analyze the competitive landscape, providing actionable insights to drive decision-making.
• CRM & Compliance Management: Ensure timely and accurate reporting within CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, ASTRO) while maintaining strict adherence to internal compliance protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Project Collaboration: Contribute to various ad-hoc projects and strategic initiatives, supporting cross-departmental efforts to achieve organizational objectives.

Qualifications

About you:

We are looking for an intern who seeks challenge and has a desire to learn about new products, markets and approaches. You wish to work in a dynamic and culturally diverse environment with colleagues possessing a wide and varied range of experiences.

In addition, to be an ideal candidate you have the following background, skills and mindset:

• Student with a business/actuarial background
• Microsoft Office experience, advanced Excel
• Well-organized, proactive, creative and solution oriented
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical topics to non-technical audiences
• Fluency in English and Cantonese / Mandarin, both written and spoken skills are necessary
• Highly motivated, openness for continuous improvement
• Previous experience in life (re)insurance would be a plus
