Job Description:
- Understand business processes & define the business requirements in the form of use cases / user stories.
- Design IT solutions together with relevant IT and other teams that will met business requirements and timelines.
- Deliver IT solutions in accordance to relevant IT policies & frameworks.
- Provide & share knowledge to other team members.
- Create Test cases & test plan.
- Write SQL scripts to test ETL results.
- Write scripts to regression test the ETL iterations already completed.
- Test execution working closely with the regional team.
- Provide inputs to quality assurance metrics on testing progress and open defect counts.
- Follow organization QA standards, templates and processes.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Information Technology, Actuarial Science or relevant field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- At least 4 years of working experience in software development quality assurance.
- Hands-on in MS SQL. Should be an expert in MS SQL queries and scripting.
- Hands-on experience in testing ETL systems is mandatory.
- Candidate should be able to create executable scripts for regression testing purposes.
- Experience in testing SSIS ETL mappings is good to have.
- Life insurance background.
- Exposure to finance or actuarial concepts is advantageous.
