Job Summary:
The Digital Dentistry Manager oversees the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of digital technologies in a dental practice. This role is responsible for ensuring that NUCOHS’ digital systems enhance patient care, streamline operations, and support the institution’s goals and objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a digital dentistry strategy that aligns with NUCOHS’ overall goals and objectives.
- Evaluate, select, and implement digital technologies and systems, such as CAD/CAM systems, digital imaging, intraoral scanners, and practice management software.
- Train and support staff on the use of digital technologies, ensuring proper integration into daily workflows.
- Collaborate with dentists and other team members to optimize digital workflows and improve patient care.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to digital dentistry.
- Monitor and assess the performance of digital systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in digital dentistry, recommending new technologies or upgrades as appropriate.
- Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts and ensuring service levels are met.
- Develop and manage the digital dentistry budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., dental technology, healthcare administration) required
- Experience working in a dental practice, with a strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology.
- Proven experience managing digital technologies in a healthcare setting, preferably in dentistry.Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to digital dentistry.
- Proficiency in computer software and systems used in digital dentistry, such as CAD/CAM software, practice management software, and digital imaging systems.
