The opportunity:

Our client is a Singapore-headquartered importer and distributor with technology and premium products at the heart of the business. We are searching for a hands-on Finance and Logistics Manager to handle the organisation's financial duties and manage regional logistics and inventory management.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Cash flow forecasting and managing the annual budgeting process.
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including monthly P&L production and associated management reports.
  • Ensuring payroll and statutory payments are processed accurately and on time.
  • Bank reconciliations and monthly GL reconciliations.
  • Processing of sales invoices and reconciling to ordering system.
  • Processing vendor invoices and the maintenance of vendor files.
  • Ensuring timely closing of the month-end in A/P.
  • Preparing reports to present to investors and communicate in layman's terms, internal business leaders.
  • Assisting in related areas such as year-end financial statements, corporate tax returns, and GST accounting and returns.
  • Assigning deliveries to drivers through our fleet management system.
  • Managing and tracking stock inventory and transfers between warehouses.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Well versed in Xero (cloud accounting software) and strong Excel skills.
  • CA or CPA Qualified and a relevant Business/Accounting degree
  • Experience in inventory management.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sharp analytical skills with an eye for detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to build positive relationship with external parties such as customers, logistics partners, customers, auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, government authorities, and banks.
