Designed for entry level candidates and early-career professionals, the NTU Management Associate Programme (MAP) will be your gateway to a world of opportunities in higher education management, beyond the traditional academic paths. During this 2-year programme, you will experience two 9-month rotations within NTU and a 6-month professional attachment/secondment to an external organisation.
You can look forward to:
• Developing functional skills and competencies through 2 internal postings spanning across different departments within the University. As part of these postings, you are free to explore roles in diverse areas including but not limited to:
o Student & Academic Services - Make a meaningful difference in students' academic journeys and wellbeing needs
o Information Technology - Shape the future of higher education with innovative solutions that enhance learning and operations
o Finance - Drive financial excellence and operational efficiency to ensure the University's long-term fiscal success
o Sustainability - Champion sustainability initiatives that make a lasting impact on our campus and community
o Events Management – Plan and execute memorable and impactful campus events that align with the university’s goals
o Campus Housing – Ensure a positive residential experience for students and faculty living on campus
o Corporate Communications - Lead the University's communication efforts to elevate the University's brand and engagement with diverse audiences
o Facilities Management and Development – Contribute to the development of sustainable campus infrastructure and facilities
• Gaining real-world insights and valuable learning experiences through:
o A 6-month professional attachment/secondment to an external organization. A key component of MAP, this attachment will broaden your understanding of organisational dynamics and facilitate skills acquisition from various industries beyond NTU
o Overseas learning journeys to build connections and learn best practices from top universities and global brands.
• Growing your network and receiving dedicated mentorship from our leaders
• Gaining a deeper appreciation of the University’s landscape through a personalised onboarding experience designed to set you up for success.
You will first join NTU on a 2-year contract and can look forward to conversion to a permanent appointment at the end of the programme. At this point, you will also be able to choose a function that is more closely aligned with your strengths and aspirations to start deepening your skills within.
Requirements:
We are looking for all-rounded entry level candidates across all academic disciplines. A successful candidate would be:
• An entry level candidate or early-career professional with less than 3 years of working experience as at the programme commencement in July 2025
• A leader with strong interpersonal skills and keen analytical abilities
• An individual who is passionate about making a meaningful impact and demonstrates resilience to drive changes
