As a member of the corporate safety office, you will be responsible for effective implementation and maintenance of the safety management system to achieve a high level of safety performance. Your responsibilities are to:
- Establish and review safety policies, objectives, processes and documentation;
- Ensure safety hazards and safety risk management processes are effectively performed;
- Monitor, measure and report safety data;
- Conduct safety audits and inspections; and
- Drive safety promotion initiatives and organise safety events.
Requirements:
- Good degree in any discipline, preferably with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in the aviation industry.
- Applicant needs to be a fast-learner and highly adaptable in a dynamic working environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interface with multiple stakeholders, preferably with experience in compliance management and interfacing with regulators.
- Experience with aviation safety management systems would be advantageous.
In addition, any one of the following experience or knowledge would be advantageous:
- Risk management methodology such as bow-tie analysis;
- Statistical analysis;
- Human factors principles;
- Safety investigations; and
- Lead auditor / auditor qualifications (e.g. ISO9001, ISO45001, etc).
