We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Manager, FA&T. Reporting to the Senior Manager, this is a full-time and permanent position based in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the primary client service contact for assigned portfolio. Monitor and respond promptly to client requests. Strengthen client relationships.
- Main point of contact on a day-to-day basis for operational matters and critical issues that need to be addressed before work get disseminated to the other team member.
- Reviewing financial statements, management accounts and accounting packages.
- Proficient in drafting wordings for disclosure wordings for IFRS/US GAAP accounting conventions.
- Working closely with other teams (i.e. Cash Management, Investor Services and Corporate Secretarial) to ensure overall operations are running smoothly.
- Undertake management and general administration and other special projects as assigned by the Management.
- Responsible for overall service delivery to assigned clients, including the timelines and accuracy of client deliverables.
- Coordinate with clients’ other service providers, including offshore accountants, asset/property managers, auditors, and banks to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Handle full or partial sets of accounts, GST and compliance matters.
- Responsible for full spectrum of payroll functions in relation to the portfolio of clients (monthly CPF contribution, IR8A tax submission).
- Ensure payments and clients’ accounts are processed in compliance with the client’s policies and statutory requirements.
- Performance management of the team (including performance counselling and feedback).
- Project management and general management responsibilities as required.
- Provide guidance to the Business Outsourcing team of Assistant Associates, Associates and Senior Associates.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy (CPA/ACCA/ACA) or Finance or equivalent.
- At least 7-8 years of working experience with private equity real estate funds or real estate organisations and audit firms, part of which must have been in management or supervisory capacity
- Sound knowledge of Singapore FRS/IFRS.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- A team player who has a can-do attitude with strong initiative & credibility, pays attention to details, thrives in a fast-growing organization, and works to meet tight deadlines.
- Resilient and able to work independently to organize and prioritize work with minimum supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal, written & oral communication and analytical skills.
