Job Description

As a Manufacturing Science, Analytics & Technology (MSAT) Specialist within our Global MSAT Support Team, you will play a key role in enabling cell manufacturing sites to implement Miltenyi Biotec technologies in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment.  

•  In this role, you will continuously develop your expertise in manufacturing science and analytics applied to cell products, focusing on technologies from Miltenyi Biotec;
• You will advise and support the establishment of cell manufacturing sites and processes based on technologies from Miltenyi Biotec;
• You will develop and deliver services required for the establishment of cell manufacturing sites and processes based on technologies from Miltenyi Biotec;
• You will develop, organize and deliver training to support the qualification of production operators and QC analysts at cell manufacturing sites;
• You will also provide expert assistance in solving complex process and application problems. These services will be provided to internal and external cell manufacturing sites worldwide, with primary focus on APAC. 

Qualifications

• You will have a degree in life sciences (biology, biotechnology), bioengineering or comparable scientific training. A PhD is an advantage.   
• Experience in various biological fields such as hematology, transfusion medicine, immunology and cell biology are required.  
• You will have experience in cell production and cell analysis methods. Experience in the qualification, validation or verification of analytical methods.  
• Experience of working in a GMP environment is an advantage. You have excellent communication and presentation skills and are fluent in English - additional language is a plus.  
• You are willing to travel (up to 30%).
