Job Purpose: To provide various anatomic pathology services under the direction and supervision of a pathologist
Duties and Responsibilities

- Primary Responsibilities and Duties (80%)
- Gross examination and dissection of anatomic pathology specimens
- Prepare tissue for numerous pathological tests including frozen section, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence and immunohistochemical staining.
- Photograph gross specimens
- Provide fresh tissue to tissue repository and research projects
- Train and assist pathology residents in grossing specimens

- Secondary Responsibilities and Duties (20%)
- Maintenance of surgical pathology CAP protocols
- Assist in preparation for accreditation inspections (CAP, Joint Commission)
- Assist in organization and coordination of pathology conferences
- Any other duties as required by the laboratory
Job Specification/Requirements
- Medically qualified doctors with postgraduate training in anatomic pathology
- Atleast 2 years experience in grossing complex pathology specimens
- Willing to work under the direction and supervision of pathologists
