Resident Engineer

We are seeking qualified Resident Engineers who are experienced in Bridge or Infrastructure or Geotechnical projects.

• Execute site supervision and coordination duties
  
• Monitor and inspect civil engineering construction works
  
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with project specification and comply with applicable codes and standards
  
• Develop solutions to resolve site issues
  
• Ensure site safety
  
• Maintain the necessary site records/project documentation
  

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  
• Must be registered with the BCA and accredited with the JAC (IES-ACES)
  
• Must have relevant experience as a Resident Engineer in supervision of structural and geotechnical works
  
• Relevant experience in the geotechnical aspect of deep excavation projects will be advantageous
  
• Experience with diaphragm wall structures will be advantageous
  
• Experience with earth retaining stabilising structures will be advantageous
  
• Must be conversant in local legislation, regulations and codes
  
• Self-motivated
  
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
  
• Able to perform tasks accurately and reliably with excellent attention to detail
  
• Able to work well as a member of a team
  
• Good communication skills
