As a Guru you will be accountable for:

• Defining and lead the data analysis vision and strategy for PropertyGuru. Develop and implement a comprehensive data analysis roadmap that drives business insights and data-driven decision making.
• Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team of data analysts. Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages professional growth and development.
• Oversee the exploration and analysis of data to uncover insights that inform business decisions. Ensure complex findings and results are translated into compelling narratives for the business.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define and evaluate key metrics for business success and progress. Assist stakeholders in understanding the reasons behind data changes and trends.
• Technical Proficiency: Utilize relational databases (BigQuery, Redshift, MySQL) and author queries using SQL. Leverage experience with Google Analytics to enhance data analysis and provide technical guidance to the team.

We're looking for someone who:

• Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role managing data analyst teams.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically about data analysis and its role in achieving business goals. Experience in developing and executing data strategies that drive measurable results.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data findings into actionable business insights. Proficiency in Python, R, C++, Java, Go, or Scala is a plus.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using Tableau to create clear and impactful dashboards and presentations. Working knowledge of relational databases (BigQuery, Redshift, MySQL) and SQL query authoring. Experience with Google Analytics is a plus.
