Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

• Build, test and deploy interfaces in Murex MxML for all asset classes by integrating with internal and external applications
• Build, test and deploy reports in Murex datamart, market data, SQL extractions 
• Build test and deploy Murex pretrade rules, MDRS, Static data
• Continually create, improve and re-engineering Build and Delivery Pipelines, CI/CD workflows, build and deployment based on automation scripts
• Design, develop and maintain the interfaces from internal and external applications and optimize the existing workflows across multiple systems.
• Work closely with teams building microservices and cloud applications that integrate with Murex. Provide the functional and technical design to integrate with Murex
• Optimize and migrate the existing applications to the modern technology platform
• Use dev-ops tools and frameworks to monitor applications and build recovery processes
• Collaborate well with other team members and stakeholders in a kanban team
• Collaborate with cross functional teams thru agile frameworks and provide transparency in the daily tasks to higher management

Requirements

• 8+ years of proven experience working with various Murex modules such as MxML Exchange, Datamart, pre-trade scripting, market data, static data etc.
• Strong Financial domain knowledge in Capital Markets across all asset classes (Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income, Interest rate/ OTC derivatives
• Good knowledge of an Object Oriented Programming language such as Java or scripting language such as Python
• Good knowledge of Sybase Database and PL/SQL scripting
• Knowledge of technologies such as ISMQ, Kafka, ELK, Spring, Camel, Redis etc is desirable
• Worked on major Murex deliveries of Murex 3.x and patch upgrades
• Experience liaising with Murex directly on outstanding cases and follow-ups
• Experience with working in DevOps and Agile frameworks
• Experience working with AWS is preferred but not mandatory
• Exposure to Test Driven Development and adhere to best practices
• Good understanding of architectural principles, multi-threaded applications and STP processing.
