Position Summary & Overview:
As the Vice President/Commercial General Manager (VP/Commercial GM) at Cepheid, you will be a pivotal member of the Commercial management team, steering the entire APAC (Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Southeast Asia, Australia/New Zealand, Bangladesh and India) region towards strategic goals. This role involves overseeing commercial growth, expanding operating margins, and enhancing organizational and DBS (Danaher Business System) capability. With direct P&L responsibility for various functions including Commercial, Market Access, Commercial Excellence, FAS and Business Operations, you'll play a crucial part in developing and executing customer strategies to drive growth and increase market share.
Additionally, the role will be responsible for leading the Danaher Diagnostics function/platform to accelerate the growth in the SE Asia Markets, partnering with our Operating Company teams from Leica Biosystems, Radiometer and Cepheid. This leader will own go-to-market strategy and execution for target SE Asia Markets for the three companies.
Managing a sales team of around 75 associates and a x-functional team of around 200 associates across multiple countries, you'll be working towards optimizing individual and team performance with a focus on continuous improvement. The current revenue in the region is approximately $350m.
