Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the timeliness & accuracy of financial and regulatory reporting deliveries
- Conduct quarterly reserve studies to provide actionable insights on business to senior management
- Drive discussion with underwriters and claims team to gather insights into business and claim trends
- Regular reviews on valuation assumptions, models and methodologies
- Develop automation solutions to actuarial work processes
- Ensure internal and regulatory compliance with MAS and other external regulatory bodies
Requirements & Competencies:
- Good progress in actuarial qualifications with 1 - 3 years of relevant experience in General Insurance actuarial function
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, experience in reserve modelling will be an advantage
- Strong team player who is adaptable, open to a dynamic working environment and willing to learn and explore new ways of working
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
