The International Centre for Aviation Innovation (ICAI) is looking to recruit an experienced AI professional to work on designing and developing the AI and Data strategy and systems infrastructure for the aviation industry.
Introduction to ICAI
The ICAI is set up to drive innovation across all aspects of aviation including Air Traffic Management, smart & digital airports, sustainable aviation and unmanned systems. As the first-of-its-kind innovation centre in Asia, the Centre seeks to foster partnerships amongst governments, industry, and research institutes to drive development, deployment, and adoption of aviation technologies.
[What the role is]
The AI and Data Program Manager drives the design and implementation of AI and Data solutions for key partners in the aviation sector. This role is integral to ICAI’s mission to enhance CAAS' NexGen Air Navigation Service System, as well as data-driven analytics and decision capabilities of the aviation eco-system. The incumbent would be responsible for leading the development of AI and Data systems and infrastructure for the aviation industry that includes the regulatory authority, airport establishments, aircraft ground handling and logistics organizations, and aviation associated Research Institutes.
[What you will be working on]
- Program management
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address the industry specific requirements
- Develop program management plan, including:
- Develop Standard of Work (SOW)
- Ensure program is aligned with delivery milestones
- Define controls and manage the program delivery
- Budget management
- Monitor progress and coordinate interdependencies
- Identify and manage strategy and implementation risk
- Manage relevant stakeholders
- Design and Development Leadership
- Define AI and Data strategy and implementation roadmap for the aviation eco-system
- Identify and manage foundation and applied research to support the defined strategy and supervise translation from research to solution
- Work with stakeholders and technology partners to develop application solutions that addresses industry specific needs
- Create and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, including design decisions, architectural patterns, and technical standards, to serve as reference throughout the implementation roadmap
[What we are looking for]
- Trained in computer science, information technology, or related discipline, and technical engineering experience in AI coding
- Proven track record in program managing and implementing enterprise level AI and Data solutions
- Big Data storage, processing, analytics, and visualization technologies
- AI frameworks and tools, including cloud AI resources
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools
- Experience with cloud deployment using Kubernetes and Docker, and familiar with DevOps
