[What the role is]
As part of the Talent Management Branch under the HR Strategy and Development Department, you will develop and manage a performance management framework which motivates and retains an engaged and committed workforce to meet the current and future needs of the organisation and to appropriately reward deserving officers.

[What you will be working on]

Your key job responsibilities will include the following:

  • Lead the implementation of effective performance management programmes and support initiatives that are aligned with the organisation’s performance management strategy.

  • Facilitate the organisation’s performance assessment and provide advice to Management to ensure that staff are duly recognised for their performance.

  • Design, review and implement competencies framework and assessment to be used for staff development.

  • Conduct periodic review of HR and relevant policies, benchmarking and comparative studies with external agencies to recommend and design effective performance management and support initiatives.

  • Engage Managers in building performance management capabilities in the direction set by the organisation’s culture and objectives.

  • Streamline relevant processes and work with consultant to upgrade the HR Information System, where applicable.

  • Provide secretariat support to management committees.

[What we are looking for]

The job might be for you if you possess the following qualities:

  • At least 1-2 years of relevant working experience in the areas of Human Resource and performance management.

  • Proficient in MS office applications, especially Excel.

  • Strong analytical and data processing skills.

  • Organised, meticulous with an eye for detail and ability to multi-task.

  • Ability to think on your feet and work independently.

  • Good interpersonal communication skills.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
