BIM Manager

Lead the development and integration of multidisciplinary BIM models for a significant project. Responsible for overseeing coordination efforts and resolving intricate BIM issues, utilizing advanced techniques and terminology.

Responsibilities & Duties for Project Activities:

• Responsible for BIM implementation, Standards, Modelling workflow & methodologies.
• Closely collaborate with Project Manager for BIM implementation based on Project requirement.
• Prepare, execute and maintain the BIM Execution Plan.
• Establish project workflows throughout all project phases.
• Familiar with all BIM relavant tools and experience to understand the project requirements and ensure its delivery.
• Handle the Design Development, contract documentation, Authority submissions, pre-consultation, site meetings and project meetings.
• Monitor and ensure drawing submission schedule is achieved.
• Manage the process of exchange and coordination of BIM model with Consultants, Clients and stakeholders.
• Liaise with Project Document Controller for accurate data transfer.
• Assist the project teams in managing the project BIM model to support the construction works.
• Familiar with other engineering disciplines ( Architectural/Civil/Electrical/Mechanical ) works and able to generate the information in the building services intergrated layout for identify possible clashes , discrepancies and assist in the conflict resolutions to enable successful completion of the project without reworks.
• Responsible for clash co-ordination & BIM co-ordination on construction site.
• Generate relevant 3D model information to help the construction team for understand the hidden or conflicting details that cannot be visually understand from 2D construction drawings.    

Responsibilities for non-project related work:

• Write/Update Corporate BIM Procedures as necessary.
• Technological Advisor for BIM requirement during Proposal, to the Engineering Director and Discipline Leads.
• Study, evaluate and develop Proposal Documents and Presentations for the BIM based on Client requirements.

Qualifications: 

• Possess at least Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduate Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10+ years of working experience in BIM Management.

Knowledge, skills and experience:

• knowledge in the use of BIM tools for design / construction documentation.
• Expert Knowledge in Regulatory Requirements
• Detailed Engineering knowledge with design and Engineering experience.
• Detailed knowledge of Singapore code of Practices, regulations and specifications for the construction industry.
• Demonstrate ability to follow instructions and execute and adapt to new process procedures and workflows
• Possesses good interpersonal skills for BIM coordination and collaborative processes.
