As the Wholesale Lending Services Business Manager in our Wholesale Lending Services team, you will be part of the team that provides hands-on support to 5 functional teams covering diverse activities from origination to funding for Commercial and Investment Banking businesses across 14 locations, with complex regulatory landscape and different local nuances.
Job responsibilities
- Produce varied range of monthly and quarterly reports towards monitoring of KPI and for business engagement discussions
- Facilitate business review meetings by preparing fit-for-purpose decks for effective story telling
- Support the creation of dashboards and visualizations to provide management with self-service tools to explore and report current trends of key metrics
- Develop and maintain periodic analytics to provide senior management with full insights into emerging trends based on detailed understanding of key performance metrics encompassing the full deal lifecycle
- Monitor capacity required to support business requirements for the functional teams and identify need for resourcing
- Partner with Resiliency team to ensure preparedness and sustainability during incidents, as well as to support resiliency testing requirements
- Facilitate outsourcing arrangements to centralize activities and optimize the way that we operate, meeting all local governance requirements including execution of FSLAs, etc.
- Identify data automation opportunities from existing book of work and apply them to appropriate use cases to enhance efficiency
- Support initiatives to increase awareness of digital tools across Wholesale Lending Services
- Maintain robust control environment by coordinating with internal teams to meet audit requirements, tracking progress on remediation efforts, etc.
- Project manage the design, build and delivery of ‘next generation’ suite of data analytics solutions for Wholesale Lending Services
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related disciplines
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, business management, controls, project management or strategy role in the financial services industry
- Extensive familiarity in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Proficiency in Tableau, Alteryx, Python
- Strong verbal, written, presentation and communication skills along with a strong Control mindset
- Proactive/ self-starter with the ability to deliver value-added support to business partners and clients in a dependable, timely and accurate manner
- Self-motivated with ability to work in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
- Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to support the goals of the business
- Attention to details and ability to work independently
- Good organization skills, and ability to work well under pressure and to meet tight deadlines, including strong prioritization skills
- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities, accept new assignments in rapidly changing environment
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Knowledge of banking products and high-level transaction flow is an added advantage
