As a Contract Logistics Operation Asst Manager/Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the contract logistics operations for Bok Seng Logistics. Β You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective execution of logistics processes and services to meet the needs of our clients. Β This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of logistics principles and practices.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans and objectives for contract logistics operations in alignment with company goals and client requirements.
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of contract logistics activities, including warehousing, distribution, transportation, inventory management, and order fulfilment.
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirement.
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with the data storage system.
  • Ensure all transactions are accurately performed and inventory levels are properly reflected.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their logistics needs and requirements and develop customized solutions to meet their expectations.
  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the performance of contract logistics operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead and motivate a team of logistics professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing contract logistics operations.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to promote collaboration and teamwork.
  • Stay informed about market updates, industry trends, developments, and best practices in contract logistics, and incorporate relevant insights into operational strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management
  • Proven track record experience as a warehouse manager, and especially in healthcare sector.
  • Familiar with GxP Practices.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and tools (eg SAP, ERP system etc)
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
  • Proven ability to analyse data, forecast trends and make strategic decisions
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
