[What the role is]
You will lead the team to develop the ops-tech integration masterplan and stakeholders’ engagement plan for delivery of CAAS’ next generation air navigation services (ANS) systems.
[What you will be working on]
You are responsible to:
(i) To develop, implement and maintain a set of integrated plans that align all aspects of the programme to ensure the different workstreams particularly the technical and operational personnel are working cohesively towards the timely completion and delivery of the next generation ANS systems
(ii) To maintain strong relationships between CAAS and relevant stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners and regulatory bodies.
(iii) To lead and represent CAAS in stakeholders meetings, conferences and industry events.
(iv) To identify and mitigate risks associated with systems integration and implementation.
(v) To prepare and present reports to senior management and stakeholders
(vi) To lead the annual workplan and budget cycle for the entire ANS Group.
(vii) To manage and mentor a team of professionals ensuring high performance and professional growth
[What we are looking for]
• Training in aviation engineering or management or related field.
• At least 15 years of relevant working experience in the aviation industry with a focus on air navigation services
• Proven track record in strategic planning and stakeholders engagement
• Strong understanding of industry trends and technologies
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate team members towards achieving organisation goals
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to identify and address issues proactively
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Independent, pro-active and resourceful with the ability to focus on priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel for overseas trainings, meetings and work assignments if required.
Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
