About the Global Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics and Pharmacometrics Group

The Global Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) and Pharmacometrics Group is dedicated to identifying and developing the right drug with the right dose for the right patient through the model-informed drug research and development paradigm. We welcome innovative and motivated students to join our 12-week summer internship in 2025 with the Global PK/PD and Pharmacometrics Group based in Lilly Centre for Clinical Pharmacology, Singapore. 

About the Internship

We are looking for undergraduate or postgraduate students:

• In their penultimate year of study from relevant courses including Data Analytics, Biomedical Engineering, Computational Biology, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science or Biostatistics with a CAP of 4.0/5.0 and above.
• With prior experience in R programming. Working knowledge of WinNonlin or NONMEM will be highly preferred, but not mandatory.
• Who are independent learners with scientific curiosity and demonstrate foundational knowledge in clinical pharmacology, human physiology and pharmacokinetics.
• Possessing excellent analytical and communication skills (both verbal and written).

Your learning journey with us:

• Acquire skills for effective data compilation, summary, analysis and visualization.
• Exposure to hands-on R programming, pharmacokinetic analysis, model-informed drug development at the global level as well as a presentation of your assigned mini-project.

Our goal is to provide a unique opportunity for you to gain insights into the quantitative aspects of global drug development and discover and develop your talent with this meaningful internship experience.
