Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Lead Game Designer:

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the creative team and product manager to establish and communicate a cohesive vision for the games vertical, including existing and upcoming titles.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between UI/UX, creative, marketing, and development (frontend & backend) efforts.
  • Analyze player psychology, behavior, and emerging trends to design innovative in-game features and mechanics that enhance engagement and satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, analyze competitor products, and identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Pitch and prototype innovative game concepts, mechanics, and features, creating detailed design documentation to guide design and development teams.
  • Gather and analyze player feedback from workshops, beta testing, and reviews to refine and enhance game mechanics.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to the game design team, fostering creativity and sharing industry best practices.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for game success, analyze post-launch metrics, and iterate on game designs to optimize player retention and satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computing, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in game design or similar roles within the iGaming or gaming industry.
  • Strong understanding of game design principles, theory, and tools.
  • Knowledge of RNG mechanics, mini-game features, and game math, including pay-table balancing, RTP, and volatility, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with player behavior and preferences, especially in Asian and Latin American markets, is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in statistical modeling, balancing game mathematics, and running simulations to validate mechanics.
  • Experience analyzing game performance metrics and driving design improvements based on data insights.
  • Proven ability to identify market opportunities and design features that boost player engagement, with prior shipped titles being a significant advantage.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams and stakeholders around a shared vision.

Additional Information:

  • Salary: Up to SGD 7,500 + AWS +VB (2 - 3 Months)
  • Working Location: Tanjong Pagar
