Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (Accountancy & Finance) - Sch of Business Management

You will play a key role to engage learners across different age groups and backgrounds and you have the relevant experience in various accounting disciplines including new emerging areas of digitalisation in accounting and sustainability reporting. You are a multi-tasker with a warm personality and passionate about grooming the next generation of talent for the accountancy sector.

[What you will be working on]

• Module development, delivery, project supervision, assessment setting and marking

• Coach and mentor both PET and CET learners

• Involve in student development activities beyond the classroom

• Reach out to prospective learners for PET and CET courses

• Plan, lead and manage poly-wide and industry projects

• Industry collaboration and network

• Perform administrative and academic duties

[What we are looking for]

• Relevant qualification in Accountancy, with professional qualification from accounting professional bodies

• Work experience in Assurance, Forensic Accounting, Internal Controls & Risk Management, Sustainability Reporting, Sustainability Assurance

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to multi-task and be hands-on for ad hoc projects

• IT savvy and able to harness technology to enhance teaching and learning

• Enthusiastic and enjoy working with young adults and collaborating with industry

Candidate should possess relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Auditing

• Internal Controls & Risk Management

• Forensic Accounting

• Sustainability Reporting or Sustainability Assurance
