Logistics Executive

Company Description

Our client, a Japanese Technology is looking for it's Logistics Executive to be based in Singapore.

Job Description

• Establishment of key logistics planning function
• Manage and execute entire projects or components of large projects from start to finish
• Gather logistic cost information to visualise the logistics cost and create monthly report
• Monitor the progress of the cost reduction plans and come up with counter measures in case there is delay or shortfall of the target
• Review and propose improvement activity to optimise the logistic route in the region
• Conducting discussion and negotiation with 3PL to get competitive rates
• Identifying operational issues and working with NOCs and 3PL to execute improvement activities

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Logistic/Transportation or equivalent
• At least 2 years of working experience in high-tech electronics and/or manufacturing logistics management
• Exposure to free-trade agreements, especially Japan/China/ASEAN will be advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to work independently 
• Demonstrated program and project management skills
• Strong written and oral communication
• Ability to self-serve and perform deep data analysis and scenario evaluation
