Job Description Summary

You will lead strategic initiatives across multiple regions focusing on standardizing operations and implementing global best practices. Working in collaboration with cross-functional reams, regional leaders and technical partners to improve how the warehouses see and solve problems within their operations.
A strong candidate will have demonstrated experience working cross-functionally and cross-regionally to drive tactical operational actions while aligning to strategic business objectives.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Standardize warehouse processes across regions to ensure efficiency, scalability and compliance.
  • Analyze Key Performance Indicators to drive continuous improvements.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives in the spirit of continuous improvements and business needs.
  • Establishing functional business rules and global standards to streamline receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, and shipping transactions including systemic setups.
  • Act as a “change agent” driving sustainable changes in a cross functional and global environment enabling measurable improvements in key performance indicators.
  • Translation of functional business needs to technical design requirements.
  • Lead strategic initiatives focused on solving the root cause utilizing tools such as problem-solving report (PSR).
  • Define project scopes, objectives and deliverables in alignment with business needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years applicable experience leading complex global initiatives in logistics, warehousing, inventory, and customer fulfillment.
  • Proficiency in WMS and ERP systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication

Desired Characteristics

  • Tactical fulfillment operations experience in a global supply chain environment
  • Expertise in lean concepts and best practices.  Experience deploying “transactional lean” outside of the physical walls of an operation a plus
  • Analytical problem solver with a proven track record of taking a data driven approach to identifying root cause and corrective actions
  • Green or Black Belt Six Sigma certification
  • Demonstrated ability to lead global programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, and execute programs. Established project management skills
  • Project management experience, formal PMP certification a plus
