Responsibilities:
Your mission in Operations:
- Oversee Day-to-day Operations Processes (General Insurance Policies Purchasing & Reviewing, Renewals, Endorsements, & Claims Management) & ensure all policies are accounted for
- Be the customers voice and update the product team about issues every week with your reporting.
- Work with various insurance partners on Operations-related matter
- Regularly report out on team performance to company executives, focusing on insights and initiatives to improve performance.
- Work with team leads to handle client escalations and partners issues.
- Provide Compliance Support to the Head of Compliance
Your mission in Finance:
- Track and reconcile bank statements.
- Assist in preparation & reviewing of Management Accounts on a monthly basis.
- Create cost analysis reports (fixed and variable costs).
- Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers and partners as needed.
- Provide administrative support during budget preparation.
- Participate in quarterly and annual audits.
- Liaise with the companys corporate secretary for all governance related matters.
Your mission in HR:
- Provide administrative support around the general office.
- Develop and implement People strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
- Report to management and provide decision support through People metrics.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Manage Interns - from hiring to work allocation.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in Human Resources, Operations & Customer Service is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic accounting, audit and its principles is ideal
- Prior experience in the insurance/finance industry will be highly advantageous
- A great communicator and presenter with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment.
- A passion for making onerous processes simple and quick.
- Process-oriented thinking with strong problem-solving skills and a creative mind that loves to solve challenges.
