The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced PR and Marketing Executive to join our team. This role is crucial in enhancing our brand visibility, through managing our public relations, planning and executing events, hosting visiting delegations and marketing our practice locally and globally. The role will support organisational business objectives for SAA and regional strategies for SJ’s Asia-based sector and service lines a global portfolio of best-in-class brands is brought together to deliver integrated solutions to clients and partners across the region and beyond.
The candidate should have excellent communication skills, be able to work both in teams and independently and be detailed and meticulous in execution.
Your Responsibilities
Public Relations:
- Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies to enhance the visibility and reputation of the service lines and brands.
- Write and distribute press releases, articles, and other media content.
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, and industry influencers.
- Monitor and analyse media coverage and prepare regular reports.
Events Planning and Execution:
- Plan, organise, and execute a range of events such as exhibitions, student open houses, industry conferences, and client receptions.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful event execution.
- Manage and develop event programs, schedules, and promotional materials.
- Manage event budgets and provide post-event analysis and reports.
Hosting Visiting Delegations:
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to plan and coordinate visits from international and local delegations
- Prepare presentations showcasing the firm's work and capabilities.
- Organise tours of the firm's projects and office.
- Ensure a positive and professional experience for all visitors.
Marketing:
- Conduct market and industry research in different markets to gain understanding of each market and identify opportunities and trends.
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns to showcase projects and promote services for the various service lines.
- Tailor marketing strategies to target local and international markets.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for global partnerships and collaborations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with international media and industry partners.
- Create compelling marketing materials including brochures, and presentations to ensure consistency in branding and messaging.
Business Development
- Support the business development functions and business initiatives to expand the practice’s market presence, client relationship management and tracking, and assigned administrative tasks.
Pre-requisites and Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in PR and marketing, preferably within the architectural, design, engineering or built environment industry.
- Strong understanding of architecture, design, engineering and construction industry trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record of successful PR campaigns and event management.
- Proficiency in social media management and digital marketing tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and effectively meet challenging deadlines
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Creative thinker with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
