Our client is a market leader in a fast-paced, high-tech industry.  

Candidate

The client is looking for a well-travel, much-accomplished IT Governance Manager role for its business in MEA. 

He/she will be challenged to:

Job Description

  • perform IT current state and risks assessments and future state design
  • be the first point of contact for, and handle all, management control, projects portfolio, IT processes, procedures and policies as well as for complaints received
  • collaborate with IT Head of teams, business and support functions teams to understand user/system requirements
  • create effective working relationships with cross-functional IT / business / support teams to ensure that systems and projects are delivered on time and according to the success criteria
  • identify, implement and participate in continuous process improvements to IT Governance policies, processes, procedures and documentation in line with the group compliance, IT procedures and policies
  • implement, collect and report metrics related to IT platform activities
  • monitor and administrate the publishing of up to date information on IT governance
  • monitor and report on the progress of approved projects against targets and budgets and the quality of work, taking any necessary corrective action
  • participate in estimating, planning and managing IT systems budget and project work
  • advise and support the regional Head of IT governance in the forecasting, planning, monitoring and managing of budgetary spend
  • implement effective policies, procedures and standards with control departments (Risks Ops, FMPs, Audit, ……) to report the IT control activities accordingly
  • comply with the internal policy or regulation

Qualifications

  • experience in a similar role in a fast-paced or high-tech industry will be a strong plus
  • PMP, ITIL and CISA would be advantageous
  • Experience in IT management control, IT budget and reporting
  • experience with SAP R/3 or Oracle would be advantageous
