Job Duties:

Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.

Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods.

Assures product robustness by establishing standards; confirming to manufacturing processes.

Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Lead and work with teams for continuous improvement

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Require to respond to technical issues is critical to improve operational on-time delivery and commitments to the customers

Consistent root cause analysis, resolution and attention are critical for operational readiness

Ability to turnaround processing new part numbers

Ability to provide technical resolution for production part numbers

Carry out continuous improvement for the targeted productivity savings

Support the cost-out initiatives for the site's target savings

Maintains and execute manufacturing process robustness, supporting UPPAP requirements (PFMEA , Control Plan , Process flow diagram)

The response to Andon system is also important in ensuring support for Operations on quality and that we are on-time to the customers

Skills and Requirements

Dealing with Complexity of Parts, Manufacturing Methods and Procedures, Manufacturing Quality, Product Development

Knowledge of CAD/CAM in UG NX and Vericut is required

Knowledge on robotic manufacturing and project management will be advantageous

Ability to work rotational shift and at times out of office hours

Ability to provide weekend support

At least a Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering
