DescriptionAbout the Role
You will be a vital member of the Strategic Marketing Division and report directly to the Manager, Events. You will assist in planning, executing and overseeing events for various stakeholders, with a strong focus on corporate and internal events. This role is pivotal in creating impactful experiences that align with the company’s strategic goals, including internal/external stakeholder engagement, fostering partner relations, sales growth, and enhance brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Project Management
- Project manage events from conceptualisation to completion. This includes working with team members to develop the event programme, liaising with agency partners, tracking budgets, and negotiating cost. Events includes meetings, conferences, awards ceremonies and employee engagement activities.
- Timeline and logistics management to ensure seamless execution.
- Coordinate with internal teams to align events with business objectives and established KPIs.
- Select and liaise with partner agencies to ensure they deliver high standards of strategic, creative, and executional excellence.
- Negotiate with vendors, venues, and service providers to secure optimal terms.
- Ensure all events comply with industry regulations and company policies.
- Explore new technologies and push the boundaries of organising events and creating experiences.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand event goals and tailor experiences to meet them.
- Work across internal and external teams to develop plans and ensure delivery of the established KPIs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, sponsors, partners and event agency before and during events.
- Engage and manage event speakers, including internal executives and external industry leaders.
Marketing Communication
- Develop pre- and post-event marketing communication collaterals.
- Ensure alignment of event messaging with the company’s brand and values.
Evaluation and Reporting
- Develop post event feedback surveys and analyse reports and against event objective and KPIs
- Track event performance and attendee feedback to provide actionable insights for future planning.
On-site Management
- Ensure smooth on-site execution by managing registrations, coordinating with service providers, and troubleshooting issues.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in marketing/communications/event management or any related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in event management (physical, virtual and hybrid), preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Proven track record of strong project management skills, delivering both virtual and live events within deadlines and budgets.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written is a must.
- Capable of problem solving, multi-tasking and working well under pressure.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Creative and organized with a meticulous eye for detail.
- Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office – Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge in design software such as Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator is preferred but not mandatory.
