The Academic Learning Undergraduate (UG) team at NTU Entrepreneurship Academy (NTUpreneur) oversees a broad range of activities, encompassing both Academic Management Operations and Student Engagement and Development, specifically for the Academy’s two flagship undergraduate programmes—the Second Major in Entrepreneurship (SMiE) and Minor in Entrepreneurship (MiE).

Job Description:

The Senior Executive (Student Engagement and Development) plays a crucial role in coordinating all aspects of student engagement, development, and outreach activities related to the undergraduate programme at NTUpreneur. The incumbent will contribute to ensuring effective communication, promotion, and coordination of various initiatives to engage prospective and current undergraduate students. S/he reports to the Assistant Director, Lead, Undergraduate Programmes at NTU Entrepreneurship Academy (NTUpreneur). This role works closely with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, students, and administrative teams, to administer student engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate Student Engagement & Development Project and Initiatives

  • Coordinate within the UG team and collaborate with other team members to strategise and implement student engagement, development, and outreach initiatives

  • Coordinate student engagement, development, and outreach projects, programmes, event and activities

  • Identify and resolve logistical or participation-related issues that arise in student initiatives.

  • Proactively address on-site issues and ensure smooth operations of event execution.

2. Maintain Student & Alumni information

  • Maintain UG student database, managing student and graduate profiles and records

  • Troubleshoot discrepancies and ensure data accuracy for reporting.

3. Coordinate Marketing & Outreach initiatives

  • Managing and update the NTUpreneur UG programme website and design marketing collaterals, EDMs, and social media content.

4. Coordinate Student Awards & Recognition programmes/initiatives

  • Administer awards, scholarships, competitions, service-learning opportunities, etc. and publicise student achievements

5. Coordinate Student Representation and Engagement and Development Initiatives/Programmes

  • Includes the facilitating the management of student ambassador programme and student club, including recruitment, training, and supervision

  • Anticipate and resolve challenges in student leadership initiatives.

6. Facilitate Team Coordination and Administration

  • Maintain the team calendar and rosters, including leave applications and event duties.

  • Manage and maintain the team’s repository for information and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for easy access and retrieval.

7. Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Lead or Senior Management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of relevant experience in student engagement, administrative coordination, or marketing in an Institute of Higher Learning preferred

  • Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities to handle various responsibilities efficiently

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, team-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities

  • Good communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, faculty, and external stakeholders

  • Creative and resourceful in executing engagement and outreach activities

  • Ability to design simple marketing collaterals and digital content for outreach initiatives

  • Proficiency in MS Office, website management tools, and social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)

  • Familiarity with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, video editing software) is an advantage
