The Senior Field Marketing Manager (FMM), role is responsible for driving demand through field programs to meet or exceed revenue goals for the region’s sales teams. The Sr. FMM role will develop and drive high touch marketing programs that generate quality pipeline, move prospects through the sales cycle and build customer intimacy. This position supports approximately 3 sales teams managing “My Client’s” large enterprise accounts, in a fast paced sales environment. This field-based position requires some experience across verticals, countries , as well managing events and C-level executive programs in each territory.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities
Take ownership of field programs from inception to end results: understand field needs, define program and success measurement, ensure alignment with global segment objectives, and deliver all aspects of the program locally. Responsible for
- Strategy and initiatives that align to the Area Vice President’s sales goals for the region and segment marketing goals
- Planning the area’s customer programs and managing the field marketing mix of programs to support sales needs.
- Working with Alliance partners to implement joint partner campaigns
- Communicating and executing the area’s enterprise and industry events for local teams
- Maintaining regional program budgets
- Tracking program results, measuring program success, and reporting metrics via SFDC
- Liaise between all teams – working closely with APAC central marketing team.
- Managing the area’s marketing calendar and aligning with APAC Demand Programs
Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, and Experience)
- 8-10 years of enterprise marketing experience, with field marketing background
- Proven track record of successfully partnering with sales management
- Experience with developing integrated, multi-touch marketing plans to take customers on a journey
- Experience with Industry C-level events and CIO roundtables for large enterprise customers; account based marketing experience would be a plus
- Enterprise software background with strong solution/industry knowledge
- Experience with sfdc.com
- Channels marketing and sales experience would be a plus
- Self-motivated, innovative, collaborative, multi-tasker, creative and analytical
- Excellent oral and written communication skills at executive and field level
- Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment is extremely important
- Strong team player with a positive attitude
