Description

In this position you will....

be responsible for the full spectrum of insurance broking tasks and processes independently, encompassing servicing new and renewal clients’ accounts primarily in commercial lines insurance.

 You will be responsible for…

  • Managing pre-agreed SME schemes as well as any other schemes & programs as assigned and assisting in insurance tenders
  • Reviewing the client’s insurance policies’ terms and conditions to match changing risks conditions
  • Recommending new policy cover(s) for risks previously not identified
  • Establishing and maintaining good relationships with clients and insurers.
  • Ensuring policies retention and organic growth of clients’ needs
  • Ensuring timely production of placement/broking slips, cover notes and policies
  • Working closely with claims team to ensure the client’s claims are handled and managed promptly and efficiently
  • Monitoring Premium Payment Warranty status and ensuring clients make premium settlements on time
  • Performing other ad-hoc assignments which may be assigned as and when required.

 You will require the following qualifications and skills                                                                                                               

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in similar capacity
  • Attained all relevant insurance certifications (Min. PGI, ComGI). 
  • Good verbal and written communications skills. 
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills. 
  • Good time-management skills and able to thrive in a fast-pace setting.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
