What can you expect?


In this role you will lead a team of actuaries and modelers across the various offices and geographies in the region to delivery actuarial and modeling services to clients and colleagues in SEAK.


We will count on you to:



  • Manage workflows, projects and planning to timelines
  • Lead the strategic planning process for the business, alongside other GSA regions in Asia/Pacific
  • Liaise with senior colleagues across Asia and globally to ensure application of global best practice and innovation
  • Align team priorities with the commercial needs of the broking and advisory businesses
  • Prioritize senior and pro-active engagement with clients and reinsurers, including renewal presentations and RFPs.
  • Represent THE FIRM at industry events
  • Provide technical training to clients and colleagues
  • Adhere to company procedures and Professional Standards


What you need to have:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or related quantitative field such as Mathematics or Statistics
  • Over 10 years commercial experience, reinsurance preferred
  • FCAS, FIAA, or FIA
  • Significant experience in leading analytical or modelling teams, preferably in a reinsurance environment
  • Technical expertise in reinsurance
  • Understanding of the product lines and the global, and regional industry conditions to identify significant considerations that insurers should address in designing their programs
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office software
