DescriptionPURPOSE:
- Represent FBAP legal entity in various tax activities, including income tax compliance, GST filing, TP documentation, and other various tax related projects, ACAP, TGF, CTRM, BEPS etc.
- Guide overseas subsidiaries to comply with group tax reporting requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Prepare for tax computations for FBAP, support the tax compliance, manage tax audit and negotiate with local tax office.
- Prepare for deferred tax computations for FBAP.
- Prepare for quarterly closing reports to meet group consolidation requirements.
- Provide advice and solutions for transfer pricing issues, including preparation of transfer pricing documentation.
- Lead countermeasures for transfer price tax audit conducted by IRAS.
- Lead tax management and process improvement.
- Provide advice on tax matters relating to operations as well as tax impact on business changes.
- Support tax aspects in the merger and acquisition projects, and design tax optimized structures.
- Proactively identify areas of taxation risks or opportunities for reduction of taxation costs and implement legally compliant solutions for identified issues.
- Design tax strategy to take advantage of preferential taxation.
- Lead close communication with the tax authority and tax consultants.
- Prepare/review for quarterly GST filing with working with accounting team.
- Lead ACAP implementation to FBAP GST group.
- Prepare/review for withholding tax filing with working with accounting team.
- Lead TGF implementation to FBAP (including FBAP GST group).
- Lead CTRM implementation to FBAP.
- Lead internal process reestablishment compliance with BEPS, and working with Corporate

- Review tax reporting of overseas subsidiaries to be in line with group requirements.
- Prepare for quarterly closing instructions for overseas subsidiaries.
- Review corporate tax submission from overseas subsidiaries to ensure compliance.
- Provide advice on VAT, WHT, Corporate Income and other taxation issues of overseas subsidiaries.
- Monitor changes in tax related regulations in the Region, analyse impact to our operations, and explore solutions to minimize impact and maximize the benefits
- Lead / support to set / renew APA (advance pricing agreement) scheme in the Region
- Set and review recharge scheme across the Region.
- Review computation of subsidiaries deferred tax.
- Review TP risks of the Region and evaluate countermeasures to mitigate risks.
- Review tax risk and implication in major business projects.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- More than 6 years related knowledge and experience in local and regional tax issues in Big 4 and /or MNC (MNC Mandatory)
- Finance or Accounting Degree, or Professional Accounting Qualification
- Ideally from Transfer Pricing Division in IRAS
- Experience in handling tax issues including Corporate Income Tax, Transfer Pricing and Indirect Tax
- Understanding in business structures (details of revenue / cost structure)
- Self-starter and able to work independently as well as in teams of high professional and ethical standard
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong command of written and spoken English
- Ability to handle stress in a rapidly changing environment
