[What the role is]
You will be part of a team to chart the direction for a highly productive and integrated construction sector. Specifically, you will be a policy officer in charge of accelerating the drive towards higher construction productivity in both public and private construction projects. The team’s responsibilities include:
• Formulating policies and frameworks to drive adoption of productive initiatives such as Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA)
• Exploring innovative design and/or construction management approaches to raise construction productivity
• Engaging industry stakeholders (including other public agencies and industry practitioners) to track, review and assess productivity impact of new technologies, systems and innovative solutions
• Engaging industry stakeholders (including other public agencies and industry practitioners) effectively to understand the challenges impeding productivity improvement and secure buy-in to ensure smooth policy implementation
• Conducting productivity data management and analysis to monitor and ensure relevance and effectiveness of measures put in place to raise productivity

[What we are looking for]
At least two years of experience working on construction projects, preferably in capacity of a developer (including public agencies), design consultant or main contractor.
A tertiary qualification in construction / project management, architecture, engineering, or other BE-related disciplines
Strong analytical, communication and writing skills
Is resourceful, able to work well independently and in a team; and have a positive mindset
