Description
- Account Development/Sales – thoroughly understand customers’ needs and provide solutions; lead others in how to meet customer expectations. Works closely with Sales Managers, Engineering, and Operations to develop strategies that result in customer penetration and sales growth. Make sales trips to customer sites to establish new accounts and maintain current ones. Maintains constant communication lines with the customers and stakeholders; maintains good customer relationships at all levels within the customer organization; meets and exceeds bookings/sales goals as agreed upon with Sales Management.
- Proposal Generation: Communicates proposal information to all stakeholders and assembles teams as needed to develop quotes for manufacturing times and materials jointly. Reviews the project with the Operations teams to ensure that the processes and materials proposed are appropriate; typically involves the needed stakeholders (Engineering, Estimation, Sales Management, etc.) in the cost and price review process. Works with materials management to determine lead time and capacity.
- Contract Review/negotiation – Develops strategies for pricing and terms, consults Sales Management, CEO/President, and Operations Management. Negotiate terms and conditions as required. Manages customer changes (ECN) and pursues change claims in a manner that does not impact relationships.
- Project Execution – Manages ongoing programs through completion by monitoring status daily and involving the appropriate people in the organization to aid in the process; holds in-plant meetings with support functions to communicate project direction and status; involves Manufacturing Engineers and/or a project team to process the project; provides leadership in pursuing continuous improvement and reduction. Supports the manufacturing and engineering departments by clarifying questions on specifications; Collaborates with experts to solve problems on projects to ensure customer satisfaction; continually interfaces with customers regarding schedules, changes, problems, and pricing. Reviews job closing and approves billing; follows up on customer receipt of project, customer satisfaction, and customer payment; supports accounting in resolving invoice/payment problems.
- Strategic Focus/Planning—Actively participates in the strategic planning process; is focused on future customer needs and initiates potential research and development projects to gain competitive advantage and fuel business growth; provides accurate bookings/sales forecasts to assist in asset and budget management.
- Keeps current with new manufacturing methods, business systems, and technology; focuses on self-development through continued training and education. Participates in special projects or activities and carries out special duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments with urgency in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

- Demonstrated capability in managing and leading project teams effectively.
- Proficient presentation skills with the ability to engage and convey information clearly to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Experience Required: At least 6 years in semiconductor or similar manufacturing industries; experience in contract manufacturing is a plus.
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed.
