Our client, one of the leading gas producing and retailing company in Singapore is looking to hire a Technical and Customer Service Engineer.
Job Description
Ensure all works carried out conform to regulatory requirements, code of practices and standard operations procedures
Review and implement quality control programs and operational work safety procedures and practices
Conduct in-house training of staff and contractors on functionalities and maintenance aspects of new and existing gas appliance
Carry out performance and functionalities testing of gas appliances such as water heater, gas dryer and gas burner in the workshop and perform analytic reports on testing results and findings
Handle customers enquires on performance and functionalities of gas appliance inclusive of site diagnostic work and other related matter
Carry out assessment of requirements of testing facilities, inclusive of set-up and upkeep of equipment in the technical services workshop
Render technical support to other Branches and Divisions inclusive of joint development of gas appliances and equipment that meet regulatory requirements and market demands
Assist in the administration and operation of the Branch and perform any other duties as assigned by Head of Branch
Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant engineering and customer service experience
Class 3 driving license
Able to start work immediately
